It's a smaller place, so more cozy. Great Service and the food was super fresh. I had a great time, a special evening last Monday night.
We were in Arizona again enjoying warm weather, and decided to try Kawaii Asian restaurant in Peoria. We went there and my wife had the Sesame Chicken and I had the Moo Shu (no pancakes). The service was good, atmosphere nice, and the food was spectacular! Not like any "chinese takeout" place we'd been to! Both very good! We liked the place & food so well, we went back there a week later. We shared the cashew chicken, which, again was different than any typical Asian cashew chicken we'd ever had. It was loaded with peas, carrots, and zuchini, unlike the "typical dishes" that are almost always bean sprouts, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots (which are not bad). We also had a sushi roll, the Spicy Crab, which was very good! The fact that their food was very good, and different than the typical was wonderful! We would go back there in a heartbeat!
Service was fast and friendly! The murals are gorgeous. The whole feel inside is beautiful. I got the spicy sesame ramen and it was delicious. Lot of depth of flavour.

Always a great experience at Kawaii sushi!! Our server was fantastic and she was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a lot of sushi and every roll was great! Our favorite was the golden California roll and the spicy tuna rolls. Happy hour is from 3-5p as well so it's a great time to visit!
We stopped by with a large group. The food was fantastic. We had the sashimi, oysters and Philly roll. The Soju was a hit but the Hana was as well. The service was top notch. We will be back soon. Thank you so much for a great night out.
Met a friend for lunch and it was super clean and bright. Had the chicken lunch special kung pao. It was great. Service was spot on. Can't wait to go back and try some sushi
Celebration dinner at Kawaii for my wife. We were a small group of 5 early on Sunday. We have had dinner several times before and my wife referred to Kawaii as one of her favorite restaurants. We asked for water to start off. Everyone agreed that we were served tap water with a definite after taste. I asked for bottled water but the server said they did not have any. So, not a good start (minus one star). From there it was the usual great service and everyone enjoyed their dishes. I heard two "I will order this again" from our group. My sushi Nigiri was nicely cut and delicious as expected. Kelly (Owner) was not there and she usually energizes the place; a day off is permitted. All good except tap water not expected from this nice establishment.
* Ambiance: There is only a few booths so the setting can be a little awkward if you end up in the middle tables. Also they close early on weekends. 9 pm but they have happy hours too. * Service: Good service. * Pricing: Average prices for a sushi place are reasonable. * Food Quality: The sushi rolls were good but the jalapeños were my favorite. * Unique Alcoholic Beverages: I had the lavender Martin. It's exciting to explore different flavors. * Jalapeños with Crab: Amazing flavors and generous portions
